Fri 25 Dec 09 - One Response

It’s been one helluva journey but I’m glad it’s finally over.

Time to move on :)

Was gonna write about this on the other blog but decided to keep it short instead.

After weeks of research and street-hunting and what-not, I bought myself an E72, having thrown out the competition: the iPhone, the Bold, the heart break etc :(

The phone was nothing short of flawless. It lived up to expectation – handling my emails, chats, tweets etc with ease. Until I realized the GPS wasn’t working, that’s when the nightmare began.

Took me 2 hours to get the phone changed. Took me another nightmarish 2 hours to set up the seemingly broken email.

But it’s done :D!

So till I get my Apple, good luck Nokia

Due to unforeseen circumstances, I’m gonna delay my transition.

Close the old. Start a new.

Rant about me all over again.

You’re nothing short of Fucking Pathetic.

I thought that as a hypocrite, you’d carry this on further than I expected. But this looks like a pathetic attempt at giving up.

A few months back you started a hate rant about me. A few weeks ago you told me to grow up.

I’m calling you out right now. Grow some balls and bring along some fucked up friends.

Because if you want a war, it’s what I’ll give you.

Okay that actually kinda cleared up the storm, guess the inspiration really does rile up when I’m pissed or something.

Anyway, Virgo.

I am still remarkably amazed at how well kept the place is, what with all the wood, polished metal surfaces, and carpeted floors. Spick and span would be a gross underestimation of how spotless the place is. Whoever’s cleaning the place is doing a fantastic job.

Employee demographics have also changed significantly; where majority of the ship’s crew used to be from the Philippines, Virgo might as well be considered a little Chinatown now. What was even more obvious was the racial segregation between crew members. Where Virgo used to be considered warm, it feels nothing more than a monetary exchange now.

Otherwise it was fantastic, now if only the casino would sponsor another trip :)

But before I plunge further into despair, guess I should pen something down.

Inside my head now exists so many thoughts I would love to use to decry every blatant contradiction you have imposed on yourself, but I will be an adult about this and say that whatever ‘rant’ or ‘pity’ or favor you think you’re doing me, I appreciate it.

I appreciate it because you could have been a total two faced bitch about it, or kept it inside and never let me read anything about it. But instead you chose to announce to the world that you’re still the same muddled and confused little girl.

So thank you for that.

And while I’d really like to give you a solid four letter word to your face for denying anyone the basic right to apologize, notwithstanding the fact that you didn’t really see my true intentions, I will walk away. Far away.

Because at least I can be an adult about this.

And people like you totally don’t deserve friends.

Was gonna write about Virgo. But that will come another day. Because the rapid cycling is back and I don’t know what to do now.

Closure was never meant for anyone else but me.

Just came back from Sitex 09 and I’m beginning to question the whole point of IT fairs.

  1. A good majority of sales people cannot answer my few basic questions of weight (how heavy?) and warranty (how long?).
  2. OMG loudspeakers much?
  3. Managers who try to con unknowing buyers into seemingly good deals but are in reality redundant purchases.

I suppose it gives ST a good method to waste 5 pages on useless reviews, followed by a headlining article on how our economy is picking up because “a record 120491704924 billion people attended Sitex this year”.

Then again, for people who know what they want, I suppose it’s a decent deal after all.
